From the island of Hawaii, a new food trend has come to the shores of the Philippines. Poke, pronounced as “POH-keh” means “to cut”; it is simply raw seafood turned into a salad. It is traditionally made with cubes of raw tuna dressed with some soy sauce and sesame oil and served with red onions, seaweed and scallions. It may sound like a simple dish, but simple is not what we are after.

Tony Stark was first introduced to the big screen in the Iron Man movie released in 2008. Since then, he has swept women off of their feet with his charisma and wit, and has been the bane of men because of his swag and finesse in every film installment of the Iron Man series. This April, Tony Stark will once again showcase his appeal in the latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Infinity War.

Boracay. Ever since my first visit to the island, I found it to be too ‘tourist-y’ for my taste. Having grown up in Thailand where beaches usually involved cheap everythings, going to an island where trinkets and other items were overpriced was kind of a letdown for me.

There was a time in my life when I did not like coffee at all. I never really appreciated it until I got to my later high school years when I realized that I actually needed it. Now, it’s still a journey of coffee appreciation, but I’m glad that I got to discover a place in Katipunan that taught me a lot more than I would expect about coffee.

When I was in my early 20s, I was never very mindful of the clothes that I wore. As long as it was cute and something that I could see myself wearing at the time, I wouldn’t think twice before buying a piece of clothing. But of course it always had to be on sale because low prices were my main priority back then.
Now that I’m a bit older (and I’d like to think a bit wiser), my shopping habits in terms of clothes have also matured a bit… or so I’d like to think, anyway.
